One of our users wrote; After doing some research for new MacBook Pro, I found this - SixtyFourSwitcher is a preference pane that makes it easy for users to switch between booting using the 32-bit version of the Mac OS X kernel and the corresponding 64-bit version. Why would anyone want to do this? Because the 64-bit kernel is considerably faster than the 32-bit kernel, with the downside being that it is not compatible with older kernel extensions, and software that relies on the old extensions. I also found that Adobe Acrobat 9.2, while it shows it works up to Mac OSX 10.5.7, on another page, it showed it works with Mac OSX 10.6. After installed the sixtyfourswitcher preference pane and followed the instructions on making it work. As well as downloading Acrobat 9.2, she is now able to use FormsRUS.com again. So you might keep this all handy for other Mac people using Snow Leopard.
Regards, Customer Service Other Things to try to get On-Line Forms to work with Snow Leopard. Download the latest version of Adobe Reader (9.3). Go to the log-in page for On-line forms. Click on the Get Acrobat.
Select the correct OS version and CPU Type (Intel or PowerPC). Follow the instructions to install the program. Once the program is installed, launch the program from the icon in the Applications Folder. If a warning comes up that says Reader isn't the default application to open pdf files (which means Prevue is), click Yes to make Reader the default. Set Safari to open in 32-bit mode.
